The Wilbur Smith Discussion Forums

Has anyone read his stuff? He's from Brazil and writes stories that aim to inspire. I've read one so far, the Alchemist, which was good but i couldn't help feeling that i was missing a lot of metaphors in it. I got the overall aim of the book though and it was very uplifting. I can see why it's made such an impact on millions of people.
