This is a new series that has started in the UK on BBC4. i have only watched the first one so far and it covered the story of the Zulu and King Chaka. It was interesting to watch and relate it to some aspects of Wilbur's books and also the Micheal Cane film Zulu which I have watched recently.

Have checked my TV schedule and I believe the series is not available in Canada.However your post has tweaked my interest and I will look for the series - Lost Kingdoms In Africa,in the future,it will be available here in the future I am certain.I look forward to seeing it,thanks for the info and the post.

I have just looked at iPlayer and it only lists two shows, looks like I only caught the send one

EDIT: Just checked my Virgin V+ box and it is recording another episode so it looks like the two on iPlayer are just the first two of the series. Watch them quick as I don't know how long they stay on there.

Thanks, The BBC has some geographic restrictions it seems.
I cannot watch their TV programmes via iPlayer in Namibia, I just found out.
Will do some further research work. Maybe using a VPN tunnel (?)

This is available at Netflix in the US - it streams. It sounds interesting - I will give it a try.

I don't have a TV for the last 23 years. Before that I used to watch it for no reason at all. The major advantage is that it gives me a lot of free time. I have now plenty of time for reading, writing, cooking, hobbies, doing chores, sports (ok, used to), sleep and other "quality time" with friends and family. I am quite happy with a computer and internet connection. The downside is that I do more online shopping for things I do not need. Oh ja, I forgot: the kids go watching TV at the neighbours place or their friends places
